Love music? Check out our Battle of the Bands and wsygIDOL competitions! Want to be entertained? We’ll have an improv team and an illusionist ready to blow your mind! Need some time to chill with your friends? Check out our Coffee House for a relaxed atmosphere, tasty drinks, videos to watch, and art projects to get involved in. Love to shop? We’ll have some awesome tables available where you can buy products from your favorite Christian companies like Old Lutheran and Jedidiah! Get ready for the time of your life at WSYG NightLife!!!


Get ready for the first ever Western States Idol!
Thisevent is a singing competition that anyone and everyone attending the 2008 Western States Gathering can try out for. The twenty chosen contestants will get to compete during Nightlife in front of our Western States judges and audience for a chance to perform on the main stage of the gathering! To try out all you have to do is follow these simple
instructions:

1. Post your video audition video on www.godtube.com . Your video audition MUST be titled WSYG with your full name and EMAIL so that we may contact you. Your audition needs to be at least 30 seconds long but no longer than one song.
2. Your video audition MUST be titled WSYGidol and your first name. Please send the link to your video to us at WSYGidol@yahoo.com Include in this email your first and last name, your church name, and your church phone number.
3. All auditions MUST be in by JUNE 4TH!
4. If you are selected the Western States Nightlife team will notify you via email by July 1st. Further directions for the contest will be explained in detail in this email.
   
   
   

WSYG BATTLE OF THE BANDS
Alright all you rock band wannabes...

This is your time to step up to the plate, or should I say the mic?! The Nightlife team is putting together our own Battle of the Bands and we need you and your band to show us what you've got! All bands have a chance to try out and compete in front of the Western States judges and audience for a chance to perform on the main stage of the gathering! To try out, just follow these simple instructions:

1. Make sure at least 75% of your band is attending the gathering.
2. All band members must be no younger than entering 9th grade in the fall of 2008 and no older than H.S. graduation in the spring of 2008.
3. Make sure your audition video is at least a minute long but no longer than one song. Your video MUST be titled WSYGbattle and your bands name. ALSO please send an email with the link to your video to us at WSYGbattle@yahoo.com Include in this email your first and last name, your church’s name, and your church’s phone number
4. All auditions MUST be in by JUNE 4th.
5. If your band is selected, the Western States Nightlife team will contact you via email by July 1st. Further instructions will be explained in this email.
6. We recommend an original song.
